  • Collaborate with construction professionals, project managers, and other stakeholders to determine their technology needs and requirements. This involves understanding their specific challenges, goals, and desired outcomes.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate software applications and tools that align with construction industry requirements. This includes considering factors such as functionality, integration capabilities, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze construction processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve productivity using technology.
  • Provide training and support to construction personnel on the effective use of computer systems, construction software applications, and new technologies. This includes creating user manuals, conducting workshops, and addressing user inquiries and issues.
  • Develop data management strategies and systems for construction projects. This may involve establishing data governance protocols, ensuring data integrity and security, and implementing backup and recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions. This may involve creating project plans, monitoring progress, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with vendors or external service providers.
  • As with any Computer Analyst position, the usual minimum requirement for performing these job duties is a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or any other related position. For a position at the level offered, it is not uncommon for the incumbent to hold a master’s degree and/or several years of experience in a similar position. We are seeking a Budget Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring organizational spending, preparing budget reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting management in making informed business and financial decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, management, and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts. 
  • Track expenditures and ensure compliance with approved budgets and financial guidelines. 
  • Prepare periodic financial and budgetary reports for management review and strategic planning. 
  • Analyze budget trends, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and provide financial guidance. 
  • Review, analyze, and process invoices from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations. 
  • Support internal and external audits and other financial reviews as required. 
  • Leverage enterprise data systems to extract, analyze, and interpret complex financial and operational information, translating insights into actionable business recommendations. 
  • Evaluate the integrity, reliability, and compliance of accounting data sources and financial records to ensure accurate reporting. 
  • Conduct detailed analyses of construction project workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhanced cost control, and increased operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Budgeting, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL-based platforms, and QuickBooks. 
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
